Elon Musk’s X to Pay $10M to Settle Trump Lawsuit Over Jan. 6 Suspension

Elon Musk has reportedly decided to pay a whopping $10 million to settle a massive lawsuit linked to President Trump that was brought up by his company and its former CEO.

Musk has decided to make the settlement, once and for all, especially considering the fact that his bond with Trump continues to grow as we speak.

This makes the X platform the second social media app that will settle with Donald Trump over the suspension of all of his accounts after the storming of the US Capitol by supporters.

Last month, we heard about Meta Platforms agreeing to pay nearly $25M to settle the legal case by Trump. The latter had filed legal cases against a host of social media giants including X, Alphabet, and Facebook.

He felt that they were all ganging up against him and silencing him and his viewpoints because they were conservative.

Musk who is the owner of the top social media app said that it’s about time this matter was settled the right way. Trump’s attorneys are said to also pursue settlements with Google which banned Trump from the app after the US Capitol riot arose in 2021.
