An upstate New York woman was reportedly found dead during the morning hours of Tuesday.
This was right after she went missing in freezing cold temperatures.

She was identified as 29-year-old Leah Bellitto who walked out of her residence in Amherst, nearly 10 miles from Downtown Buffalo at nearly 9 pm on Saturday.
She was said to be wearing the color black in long sleeves with black pajama pants and a blue flower pattern backpack as per the WKBW.

They mentioned how she was last seen walking into the snow-covered woods behind her residence where the temperatures hit a new low of 25 degrees with so much snow on the ground.
During that search, barefoot prints and handprints were all around the creek and pond where she was said to be heading.

A civilian volunteer found the remains of the victim in the body of water located in East Amherst at 9:55 am on Tuesday. This was just three days after she vanished. The Police Department of Amherst is said to be carrying out more investigations to figure out what happened.
The law enforcement department claims there are no signs of any foul play so far but again it’s too soon to state anything, they continued.
